天津市胸科医院病理实验室成立于1958年，1976年升格为病理科。现有医师7人，技师6人，其中高级职称4人，中级职称3人，初级职称6人。是天津市医师协会病理科医师分会会长单位，天津市病理质控中心副主任单位，天津医科大学硕士学位授予点，天津市病理专科医师培训基地（胸部疾病）和天津市医疗纠纷病理尸检鉴定中心。

　　设有常规病理诊断室，细胞学室，免疫组织化学室，常规病理技术室，分子病理诊断室。主要医疗设备有：各种光学显微镜，五人共览显微镜，IDA2000型病理图文分析系统，病理数字切片扫描系统，AMP2000型病理远程会诊系统，Leica1850冰冻切片机，Leica2135石蜡切片机，全自动脱水机，全自动组织染色机，石蜡包埋机，薄层液基制片仪，DNA细胞自动检测分析系统，real-time PCR仪，梯度PCR仪，全自动核酸提取仪，冷冻高速离心机，组织库相关设备。科室发展方向：分子病理学。

　　常规开展各种活体组织的病理学检查，尸体剖检及细胞学检查。后者包括支气管镜涂片及痰涂片查癌细胞，胸、腹、心包积液查瘤细胞及体表包块的穿刺细胞学检查。常规检查技术包括光镜检查、组织化学、免疫组织化学检查及细胞DNA倍体分析等，已发展起来的分子病理学技术包括蛋白质和核酸的检测，肿瘤细胞的基因检测及分析技术。

　　承担进修医师教学任务和硕、博士研究生课题研究工作，2002年开始招收攻读硕士学位的研究生，研究方向：胸部分子病理学。

　　近十余年来致力于呼吸道疾病，尤其是肺细胞癌发生、转移的分子机制的研究，已在国内、外重要专业刊物上刊登论著50多篇，与北京大学医学部病理学系建立合作，共同研究人肺癌基因诊断、肺癌微转移基因诊断和人肺结核的基因诊断。获天津市科技进步成果二等奖1项，三等奖2项，科技成果15项，医药卫生填补空白新技术项目奖2项。课题曾得到天津市自然科学基金资助2项，卫生局资助课题12项。

Conventional medical business, all sorts of living tissue pathology examination, autopsy and cytological examination. The latter including bronchoscope smear and sputum smear to check the cancer, chest, abdomen, pericardial effusion check tumor cells and the body bag piece biopsy cytology. Routine inspection techniques include light microscope examination, histochemical and immunohistochemical examination, cellular DNA ploidy analysis, has developed molecular pathology include protein and nucleic acid detection, tumor cells of genetic testing and analysis technology.

Refresher doctors teaching task and the doctoral researching work have been realized,, in 2002 began to recruit of study for a master's degree graduate student and research direction: chest molecular pathology.

In terms of scientific research, to more than 10 years has focused on respiratory diseases, especially the molecular mechanisms and metastatic of lung carcinoma ,we has more than 50 important professional articles published works both at home and abroad ,also establish the cooperation with department of pathology, Peking University health science, human gene in the diagnosis of lung cancer, with lung cancer micrometastases gene diagnosis and gene diagnosis of tuberculosis.
