The radiology department of Tianjin chest hospital was established at the same time as the establishment of our hospital. After years of development, it has continuously updated high-end examination equipment, introduced high-level talents and integrated new technologies. It has gradually developed into a comprehensive imaging department characterized by imaging examination and diagnosis of cardiothoracic diseases, with an annual number of cases of more than 100000.

  Department equipment

  We have Philips full digital 3.0T ingenia MRI, Siemens SOMATOM force dual source CT, definition dual source CT, emotion 16 row CT, Philips brilliance 256 layer ICT, MX 16 row CT, Siemens Ysio fixed Dr, Siemens Mira mobile bedside DR, Wandong Medical Digital Gastrointestinal Machine and other imaging examination equipment. The diagnostic physician station is equipped with a special display screen for medical image diagnosis, and the general department is equipped with 10 Gigabit network level HIS, RIS and PACS systems.

  Staffing

  At present, there are 44 staff, including 3 senior chief physicians, 5 deputy senior chief physicians, 7 attending physicians, 3 doctors, 11 masters, 2 technicians in charge, 4 technicians, 8 technicians and 4 Nurse in charge.

  Inspection items

  CT: plain and enhanced CT scan of all parts of the body, coronary artery CT angiography, aorta and pulmonary artery angiography, myocardial CT perfusion examination, dual energy CT examination, etc.

  MRI: cardiac MRI, coronary artery MRI without contrast agent, myocardial MRI perfusion, 4D-Flow imaging of large vessels, and MRI of other parts of the whole body.

  Dr: chest X-ray examination.

  Digital gastrointestinal: upper gastrointestinal examination.

  Scientific research teaching

  The imaging department of Tianjin chest hospital is an internship base for medical imaging specialty of Tianjin Medical College and a training base for interventional therapy of congenital heart disease of China Health and Family Planning Commission. It undertakes two national continuing education projects. At present, the Department has undertaken 1 major special project of Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, 1 science and technology project of Tianjin Health Commission, completed 1 subject of Tianjin Health Commission, participated in 1 National Natural project, won 1 third prize of scientific and technological progress award of Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, 7 scientific and technological achievements of Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, and 6 new technology introduction to fill the gap of Tianjin health technology. The Department has published more than 20 SCI and Chinese core journal papers.
